    Assault of a Child - (b) Rape of a child. Any person subject to this chapter [10 USCS ?? 801 et seq.] who-- (1) engages in a sexual act with a child who has not attained the age of 12 years; or (2) engages in a sexual act under the circumstances described in subsection (a) with a child who has attained the age of 12 years; is guilty of rape of a child and shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

    Sodomy - (a) Any person subject to this chapter [10 USCS Â?Â? 801 et seq.] who engages in unnatural carnal copulation with another person of the same or opposite sex or with an animal is guilty of sodomy. Penetration, however slight, is sufficient to complete the offense. (b) Any person found guilty of sodomy shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.
